Absolute Pleasure Gifts
Absolute Pleasure Gifts was started in July of 2001 by Anita Plath when she realised it was time to do something that she had always loved doing – giving gifts. Anita identified a niche in the market for affordable gifts that were tailored to her clients’ needs, presenting quality products in a way that is visually stunning.
“I had a passion for creating beautiful gifts from a very early age. Every Christmas I would make a very special gift for my grandparents, which they looked forward to every year - a Christmas hamper filled with all the favourite things they normally couldn’t afford to buy themselves. I’d wrap a large box in Christmas wrapping paper and fill it to the brim, then seal it with ribbon and a bow. Little did I know that over 20 years later, I would own a business creating beautiful gift baskets.
I love to create beautiful and unique gifts and see the reaction on the faces of my clients when I deliver the gifts.
With an extensive secretarial background, which has resulted from 20 years of experience and qualifications, I’ve always been a very determined person. I believe one of the keys to being successful in business is my determination and passion to create beautiful gifts for my clients.
I am married with two young adorable children and I love to spend time in my garden watching the flowers grow (another passion). I’ve always been a keen sportswoman, playing many sports over the years, particularly hockey, golf and tennis”.
Recent achievements
Shortly after joining the Redland Chamber of Commerce in 2004, I was asked to create gifts to award the winners of the Business Achievement Awards.
In 2005, Absolute Pleasure Gift Baskets was nominated for the Business Achievement Award and although we didn’t win, we were again delighted to be invited to create the gifts for the category winners.
